Hazardous Location - Visual Signals
Visual Signaling Devices designed to meet the US National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 500/501 Hazardous Location designator to protect areas where the potential for gases or dust to explode exist in abnormal conditions (UL Class 1, Division 2).
Tomar Class I, Division 2 visual signals consist of both LED and xenon strobe tube models. These warning signals meet UL and / or CSA standards for installation in the appropriate classified areas. Lower-powered models such as the 2000X series LED provides just the right amount of light for status warning applications in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Our high-power strobe and LED beacons provide high candlepower for evacuations and all emergency applications.
