Steel and ore mills may experience unique voltage requirements due to extreme voltage spikes.  Tomar designed the model 3000/RML strobe and model 1100-250 Power Alarm specifically for these environments.  Both operate at 250VDC and guard against voltage spikes.  For plant illumination Tomar TLB96 LED luminaire is the only fixture on the market today that can withstand the high ambient temperatures present in steel mills.
